Master of Education in Exceptional Children and Youth (M.Ed.)

For teachers and education professionals committed to serving children and youth with disabilities. Two concentrations available: K-12 Special Education, and Autism/Severe Disabilities. This program is appropriate for teachers with a teaching certificate in either general or special education who wish to develop advanced knowledge and skills as well as other education professionals wishing to pursue an advanced degree in the disability field. Delaware teachers may pursue the M.Ed., or a five-course program that meets requirements for Delaware certification as a Teacher of Exceptional Children Grades K-12 or Teacher of Students with Autism or Severe Intellectual Disabilities.

Master of Engineering: Mechanical (MEM)

The requirements for the Master of Engineering: Mechanical (MEM) program are designed to provide a general coursework program that allows for some concentration of study within mechanical engineering. Graduates will demonstrate the ability to apply graduate-level mathematics to the solution of engineering problems in at least two of the general areas of solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, dynamics and heat transfer. Degree requirements consist of 30 credit hours of graduate level coursework. There is no research or thesis requirement.
