|Résumé||A résumé or curriculum vitae that documents your prior work experience, publications, honors and awards received and a summary of your educational credentials.|
|Personal Statement||We are looking for an insightful, specific and brief essay on the following prompts.|
|Letters of Recommendation||Three letters of recommendation from professional references. You can also submit recommendations from professors who can speak on your academic and professional motivations and potential.|

The University of Delaware is an ideal place for a great education in a global atmosphere. As an international student, you’ll join fellow students from over 100 countries. Nearly 30% of all the University’s graduate students are international.
If you are an international applicant, you’ll also need to submit one of the following:
|English Language Proficiency|
*If the TOEFL/IELTS score is too low or if the applicant has not taken the TOEFL/IELTS, the applicant can enroll in the UD English Language Institute’s ELI-CAP program. Successful completion of the ELI-CAP program means the TOEFL/IELTS requirement is waived. The length of time required depends on the applicant’s English skills when entering the program.
Conditional Admission Program (CAP)
The Graduate Conditional Admissions Program (Graduate CAP) provides international students with acceptance into the program without the need to take the TOEFL exam. After completing Graduate CAP at the University of Delaware’s English Language Institute (ELI), you can begin your graduate coursework.

- Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS)
You can transfer up to nine credits from an accredited college or university into the online Master of Arts in Strategic Communication. Graduate credits earned at another institution (but not used in the completion of another graduate degree) will be evaluated at your written request for any course.
When to Apply

Note: Full-time program applicants interested in merit-based funding consideration should apply early as those awards are distributed on a rolling basis typically at or close to the time of admission.
